It's that time again! If you have joined me before when I announced Jason Vale's Juice Challenge, you will know that your body begins to tell you when it is time for another one! Yes, it is true. Your body actually begins to "give notice" that it is time to cleanse again. Cleansing with the seasons is a powerful way to enhance our wellness. We are so connected to Nature. Once you begin to pay attention to the rhythms of Nature, once you begin to feed your body with living foods that transmit the energy of the planet, you become attuned to a deeper wisdom.

Daily juicing and periodic juice feasting/fasting is one of THE BEST ways to move yourself forward in not only abetter and healthier lifestyle, but also for a deeper spiritual connection.
I have talked about the power of plants. They are foundational to life on Earth. They provide so much more than just nutritional chemicals. Living plant food provides life energy. Plants harness the energy of the Earth and the energy of the Sun. One of the easiest ways to consume this vital energy is through fresh juice! Cows graze all day long. You, however, can pack a bunch of leafy greens into a fresh juice and consume your greens in minutes. Thank goodness!

Did you know that the foods you eat are the foods you crave? Yep, it is true. If you eat junk food, you crave junk food. If you eat healthy food, you will crave healthy food. This is why, when you change to healthy food choices and then try junk food again, you will be going, "Yuck", not "Yum." Juicing is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to change to healthier food choices. Once you begin flooding your body with what it needs to be nurtured, you will start to want to eat healthier food. It is like a magic button.

So do join us for this 7-Day Juice Challenge from July 4-10. If you're in the USA and already have plans for the Fourth of July holiday, you can simply start a day later.

There is no charge, but I will tell you that Jason Vale's book, "7 lbs in 7 Days: Juice Master Diet" is one of the best motivational books and if you have never done a juice fast/feast and think it is beyond your ability, grab the book and realize the power you DO have!

2 lemons - wax free if possible
4 limes
3 ripe avocados
38 apples - not Granny Smiths; preferably Golden Delicious
1 banana
4 pineapples
3 cucumbers
5 carrots
4 sticks of celery
1 small head of broccoli
1 raw beet
1 zucchini
1 small claw of fresh ginger root
7 oz (200 g) natural unsweetened organic yogurt - regular or vegan
1 bag of mixed green leaves
1 bag of spinach
1 bag of alfalfa sprouts
3 good pinches of cinnamon
Plenty of ice
